The routes above Saint Jean Pied de Port and Saint Etienne de Baigorri are reserved for seasoned kayakers.
This course is not suitable for rafts. It's exactly like in surfing for example where the large beach of Biarritz is recommended for seasoned surfers.
Hendaye will be more accessible to beginners. Rafting can be practiced in the waves of Biarritz if they are not too big. Hendaye will be more suitable for wave rafting initiation.
